Welcome to our medically supervised weight-loss program with the established Santa Clarita Valley Medical Director and Surgeon Marc Lussier, MD. We utilize the compounded medications semaglutide (commonly known as Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Rybelsus®) and tirzepatide (known as Mounjaro®) to help with weight management. We partner with you to create a customized plan for your weight management journey.
Once-weekly injections of these medications help with significant weight loss. They work by mimicking a natural hormone that reduces appetite and increases insulin production. Some of the common benefits are:

Our program is simple.
Schedule a consultation with Dr. Lussier for an in-person or virtual Good Faith Exam. He will review your lab results* and prescribe a medication regimen customized to your needs.
- If you are a candidate for the program, lab work is required. (See below*).
- We’ll show you how to administer the once-a-week injections at home. If you are uncomfortable doing so, you can come into our office for your shots. If you live in California and attend your scheduled office/virtual check-ins, the medication can be mailed to you (special shipping, syringes, alcohol pads, and dosing schedule are included.)
- You will be required to check in every month (in-person or virtual) to review your success, address your concerns, and customize your program.
We offer competitive pricing and personalized care from an expert physician and staff.
We source our medication from a compounding pharmacy, which is less expensive than a branded name pharmaceutical drug company. The drug companies are trying to cover the cost of development and marketing. Also, the medication comes in a fancy auto-injecting syringe, where ours comes in a regular syringe.

- If basic lab work is required, there is an additional lab fee of $150.00 at Quest Diagnostics
- Starting price of weekly injection of semaglutide $495 per month or $595 for tirzepatide. Should your dose need to increase, the cost of the medication may increase approximately $100 to $200 per month
- Free B-12 shot your first month
- Complementary follow-up evaluation; either in-office or virtual.
Virtual Consultation + Medication Shipped to Your Home (California only)
- Complementary virtual consultation to formulate a plan
- If basic lab work is required, there is an additional lab fee at $150.00 at Quest Diagnostics
- Starting price of weekly injection of semaglutide $495 per month or $595 for tirzepatide. Should your dose need to increase, the cost of the medication may increase approximately $100 to $200 per month
- Monthly virtual follow-ups
- $50.00 fee for mailing each month which includes special shipping, syringes, alcohol pads, and dosing schedule.
Our plan is for you to lose your unwanted weight while combining the medication with other lifestyle interventions, such as diet and exercise. Once your goal weight is achieved, we begin the taper the dose. How the tapering is done depends on your ability to adhere to your established diet and exercise program. There is no definitive answer on how long it is safe to take semaglutide.
Generally, insurance does not cover the cost of the medications.
*Details about lab work
We evaluate lab results to customize your program. If you bring lab work results to us from your own provider, they should be within the past few months and contain CBC, CMP, TSH, and HbA1C. If you need lab work, our affiliate, Quest Diagnostics, provides our patients with a low-cost option ($120). They have locations throughout California.
