What’s Involved?

Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, removes or tightens sagging skin around the eyes.

Eyelid surgery can get rid of lower eyelid wrinkles, drooping eyelids, puffy bags and dark circles under the eyes. Whether you want to look younger and healthier or address a functional vision problem with your eyelids, eyelid surgery can rejuvenate the area around your eyes.

If you want to create a natural crease in the eyelid to “open up” your eyes, then you may want to consider double eyelid surgery, or Asian blepharoplasty, named due to the popularity of the procedure among people of Asian descent.

There are non-surgical options to rejuvenate the appearance of the lower eyelid area which include the use of hyaluronic acid fillers and other soft tissue fillers.

To find out more about how surgical and/or non-surgical options will improve the appearance of your eyelids, please discuss your aesthetic goals with Dr. Lussier during your consultation.
